I've played for about 13 years. Played in a Houston League for 5 years, PSP for a couple and NPPL for a couple. I still have my DM6 from when I won it new lol but I also bought a Bob Long G6R and absolutely love it. Definitely the best gun I've shot and you can get 20+ pods of a single 68/4500 fill.

I'm always going to be a big fan of the EGOs. I think planet eclipse makes some good markers. Now, I too have a G6R and love it. Easy to clean, disassemble, and really not a lot of up keep. The one you picked out is a good start gun as well. Now, if you liked your mini I would look into the new empire markers as well.

I've been out of it for a while now, use to go with my buddies to Plattekill NY, PA, CT and NJ. It was just for fun nothing proffesional, just to go with friends and have fun. I still have my gear and my marker is an old AMG Spyder LCD.
This is the perfect weather I like to go play paintball.
damn the bob long guns are just out of my price range for how much id use it... they are sweet though... i didnt like the consistency and accuracy of the mini either
You going to get what you pay for. Check pbnation.com, its a paintball sell/buy site that i've sold and bought many guns on. You can get good prices on there. Find a Solid Dye DM10 or newer or a G6R.
DM will be nice. I would also look into the ego08+. You can get them for a good price. Yes, the mini wasn't all that good but the new axe is a lot better. You get what you pay for is correct. I would find something used and just get a parts kit. Most of the kids that sale their markers on eBay really only need an o ring. lol.
