No kidding. I think the paddle shifters suck! There is about a 500 or more rpm delay in mine. If I don't want to rev limit I have to shift a about 5200 then the jeep will shift around 6000.

I think it's just a lag from the actual digital engine rpm compared to the analog gauge output.
