Hey parry did you use or get any spacers? Looks to me you need to put some spacers between the head and the bracket then run a longer bolt thru. That should move the can out more

Yea I did. The bolt supplied is relatively small. Still used the spacer and washer when I installed the bracket

It took 12 washers lol I think the bolt was 4" long if I remember right. I just took the original bolt to get the threads right and also the spacers to look for the right length. You can actually go a little longer by accident as the threads go all the way thru and dont end
Yep - 2" would be perfect - Mine's just under ( 'Credit card' shown for comparo). Is different mounting point to yours, but the clearance change is the same (if you know what I mean). As my mount is up front & centre, I just used a chromed allen bolt to look pretty, and spent plenty of time giving the shaft a vigorous polish (She DID say that.. )
Good luck! Oh - Looks like I didn't rotate the pix sorry.. but you get the idea

Great result Deano!
Any problem if I send my Jeep down to you, to deck out with all the goodies that you've got on yours? Would save me a bit of work.
Might give the vigorous polish a bit of a miss though.
