Ive been into diesels long before they were easily upgraded. They have come along way in the last ten years. They gave me the power bug

My daily driver is a 816hp 1490tq mega cab. 11.89 in the quarter on 35 inch tires 7800 lbs. I built the twins and did all the work. Ball bearing garretts, dual pumps, 175hp injectors, water injection, studs springs, and a built trans, all the internals are stock




My brother had 03 Duramax that he just sold. Big twins, dual pumps, big injectors, built motor and trans, and a nitrous. It dynoed 965hp 1403 tq when he had it, since its dynoed 1121hp 1840 tq. No quarter mile times but it ran 8.0 @ 97mph in the 1/8 with no low end fueling (his wife drove it everyday) 2.4 60' .

Im new to the forum as im looking for a srt8 for my wife to drive to work. Her Challenger isn't going to work as her daily drive with our first child on the way.

Good call on the wheels I got the novakanes on one of my trucks. Look for it on the cover of diesel power mag soon , it's a green crew cab ford. Where you from?

Its to dissipate heat for a dive pressure gauge. (Pressure driving the turbos) its helpful when tuning the twins. His is what it looks like now.



The black cylinder is a particle trap to keep the nylon boost gauge line from clogging with soot from the exhaust.

Drive pressure is a biggie on the diesels, much harder to keep an eye on in compound form.
