WK1 Interior/Exterior Visual ModificationsIf you are planning on modifying your Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with a visual enhancement, please discuss it in here.
So I am ordering these today.. need to decide between Luxe and Ultimat. Its about $150 difference. Any input? also the ultimat is black or slate grey? and the luxe is Black or Ebony. Anyone order any of these for a 2012?

Its a tough choice, but the Luxe does have a softer and thicker yarn while the Ultimat is meant to be more durable for everyday use. As far as the colors go, it depends what color your interior is and if you want to match it or not.
Here is few example of the mats
Ultimat

If you want to get as close a match as possible for your interior, you need to go with Dark Slate. I love my Ultimats, I actually though the Luxe's were not as good. The Ulimats that I have are twice as thick as the OEM ones. I love them.

Well it has been driven about 1000 miles in 4 months. So durability is not a key factor for me. I currently have the Jeep rubber mats throughout the entire car. I think the 2012 only has the one color carpet and Id like to match as closely as possible
Ya, the 2012 has the same color as the newer WK1's. Dark Slate is the best option. But then again, I've never seen the Ebony color in person in the mats.
Thanks Tamara.. I tried to order yesterday from xenon depot. However my credit card wouldnt work I think due to them being in Canada.. Then got busy and haven't looked for a discount for carid or called my card company to see if they can allow the purchase
Just a warning guys (and gals ) they apparently have two different templates for our jeeps
Already seen different front mats
I ordered the rear mat and it did not look like this one
Mine was straight cut on the sides and was loose fitting
If I move it up against the plastic wheel well I get about a 1" gap on the other side
When I went back to the order page I swapped years around and got the same number for 09 & 10 but different number for 06,07 & 08
I have already contacted them with pictures so I hope they can get this straightened out
I can't believe it, they just did this to me. They know about the issue and years later are still pushing the wrong Mats. Now they have asked for pictures, like this is the first they have heard of it. Unreal !!!
