1/4 Mile drags @ Lucky Drag City, PA.

Hey guys

Going to the track later today. The day starts at noon. This is a no rules, no tech 1/4 mile drag strip. 9 sec cars with passengers, bikes with no helmets, and it is super cheap. If anyone is interested in meeting up shoot me a txt or call. 716-901-1081.

What kind of time should I shoot for in a stock Jeep where it is mid 80s with high humidity? Mid 13s?

Later,
Jack

I ran about (20) that went like this:

60' ---- 1.9
1/8 --- 8.5
mph -- 77? (I'll have to look at the slips)
1/4 --- 13.5
mph --- 99.5

I couldn't break 8.5, 13.5 or even hit 100mph in well over 20 passes. As upset as I was that I couldn't trap 100... the Jeep ran the numbers every single time. Hot lapping (6 + with no more than 3 min cool down, I was the only one racing for like 20 minutes), 30 min cool down, brake torquing, stomping from idle... didn't matter. It ran it every time.

I heard the DA was +3400? Does that sound right? Is that even possible? The airport nearby is @ 1440ft, but I don't know how you guys do the conversion, it has never mattered to me in the past.
Given the conditions, what would that correct to? Does that fall in line with a 100% stock Jeep with a 250lb driver?

6090 Jones Rd, Wattsberg PA, I believe was the address.

Just look it up , looks like DA Was in the 2600 70% humidity and 80* weather so I'd say those are great stock numbers for the conditions ..

lol... thanks. I'm looking for the site to do it... apparently
"How do I figure out the DA at the track" doesn't work in google, for a damn.

Site please?

Slips are in the truck, I'll get them on lunch.

Most of the cruise home was at triple digits... that Jeep loves speed. 80mph and I roll into it and it actually pushes me back a little. Not like the Cobra did... but a little

Time for a tune.

EDIT:
Corrects to a 13 @ 102 ... not bad.

Still needs tune.
