How much difference, power wise does putting headers on using stock cats really make?

Not much if you're just intake and exhaust. Starts to matter if you're FI. . .

I think on a non-FI setup you're better off with the stock cats for back pressure.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking the stock cats are the biggest source of back pressure so just sticking them on the end of the headers is great for passing emissions but the bottleneck is still there no?
