jeep going in limp mode

When to the shop Friday to pick my jeep after the cam installed.. Then it started going in limp mode, it also says something about traction is messed up.. The shop ppl said they didnt even touch that.. Can someone help me?

WHat says something about traction control? The "service 4wd" on the screen or is it a CEL? Codes? What cam? Does it do after goiing into drive, WOT or just cruising?

Ill have to ask tommrow if its da cel code or something else it.goes in limp mode when u put it drive n its a lil boy cam.. The shop ssid maybe da tune had a glitch in it so john sent me another tune ill try dat tommrow.. Other than dat idk wut i can do.

You running an aftermarket TCM? Sounds like your TCM could have bit it. Good news, its easy to fix and about 300 to replace.

I doubt its the TCM...It could be that the timing was set incorrectly when they were putting things back together. You don't need for it to be far off either for things to act weird.

We need more details though, does it go into limp mode right away, at WOT, etc...Also, what codes are you getting (if any), any lights on the dash, messages in the EVIC. The more you can give us, the better we can help.

Thats the problem, not enough info yet. The more info we get the more we can help. At any point after install did it drive without goin into limp mode?

Im going to the shop in little bit and i will get as much info as i can get... i really didnt get to see my jeep from up close, the person who did da work he said when he starts it n puts in drive it goes in limp right away. also he said on the dash it says the wheels r spinning when its not even moving... but i really appreciate that you guys are trying help me out, idk what i would do without this forum...

Sounds like they screwed the pooch on something. See if there are any codes, something is definitely wrong. You shouldn't be getting the traction control light or going into limp mode, even if the timing was off.
