Stage6Motorsports/QA1 Shocks review

Well finally got my shocks back from QA1 today as they were defective from the factory so no blame on Stage6Motorsports. First thing I noticed was that on the lowest setting before you could push the top of the shock all the way down and it would stay the revised shocks will come back up a bit which is what they are supposed to do. Took about 20-30 minutes to install with the wheels on (you will need some extensions for the top bolt to reach it) set it to 5 on both sides and set off for a ride, no noise YEA!!! ride was comparable to stock and just a tad better so I pulled over and went to 7 BINGO I took dips and bumps I normally avoid or cause my Borla S to hit with my BWoody drop springs and it was very smooth not bouncy or rigid. Now I only drove a few miles but going over bumps is actually not jarring anymore and I will follow up as I get more miles on them and crank them up to 11/12 and get some launch vids of the front end raising (hopefully not).

Big Thanks to Dwight and Harrison for this product!!!

Great news! Now come take me for a test ride so I'll know what to expect when Harrison allows me to order my set.

Glad you like them Wade. I'll say this, the more you turn them up, the bouncier they get. I have found 7-8 to be suitable. 12 is nuts but she don't squat during a launch. Haven't even bothered with them on 18. Haha. Enjoy them bro. I know many others will also.

Great writeup, Wade! Can't wait to get mine back from QA1. So is it the lower the #, the bouncier they get?

Thanks for posting the review. I'm sick of the bottoming out on my bwoody springs.

I think I'm going to have to look into getting some of these.

Thanks for the review Wade! Finally got mine out to QA1 today. Wasn't sure I was testing sufficiently, but mine would definitely not come back up on 1, so I guess they were bad.

Can't wait to get them installed!

No Brian. The higher the number, the harder and bouncier they get.

Great to hear Wade. Mine will be at the house tomorrow and on the jeep Wednesday.

Is this correct HB:

1 = Full soft

18 = Full hard
