It's back. Now the rears when coming to a slow stop don't squeak.....they squeal as if the truck has straight up track brakes on it.
I don't get it. Why after 7k of driving on these pads did they get so freakin loud?
any suggestions? Thanks.
I had exactly the same experience after replacing my rear pads. I swapped for the CTS-V pads at about 9k. They were much better for a while now with 20k they definitely squeel but only when cold. One or two stops and they quiet right down but the cold stops are like nails on a chalk board. I'm going to try R1's next time I'm due for brakes.
