My guess would be the throttle position between the 1-2 and 2-3 shift?

This is just one of many self testing modes the StMo will do in the vehicle.
This shot was taken, engine stopped, key on. The PCM will not allow the throttle plate to go to 100 percent in a static mode. I will have to get a running percentage "Flight Recorder Mode" to verify throttle position at WOT but I doubt the PCM torque control (or any other aftermarket flash) will ever allow the throttle to go to 100 percent due to the factory "derating" these engines.

Close sources to me tell me they have seen these engiines produce 415 RWH in the Jeep STOCK in Detroit. Using that baseline the 6.1 should make around 500 Flywheel horsepower.

Well seems today is a good day to update with Inferno running amuck

This is the "Brain of the PCM" it is a Freescale MPC5554MZP80 processor.
This is my best guess where your B&G Flash goes.
It does not hold the really important info we need to modify to tune
it just runs the PCM and orders commands.




Unlike this Monolithic IC which is a Freescale 95320WQ EEPROM 32
bit w/ SPI bus this
is where all the "real tuning" tables are stored.



Yes the board is about 25 percent identified.

In several weeks I may have enough Nodes and have power to the bench setup.
Then a real conversation with me and it can begin.
