2010 LX Nationals -- Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Caravan

2010 LX & Beyond Nationals (OH) July 17-18 (see this thread)

I'm planning to make the trip -- just curious if anyone is interested in going and wants to caravan to Ohio.

Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Caravan Proposed Route:
I-80 West into Ohio

For the NYC Metro area folks, I think the GlenPointe Marriott in Teaneck [100 Frank w Burr Boulevard, Teaneck, NJ 07666] could be perfect. It's right on I-80 and we can enter back onto I-80 easily.

If others are planning to go from North or South of NYC, we can plan to meet up on I-80 as well.

I'm going to cross-post this on other forums as well.

Racing Class Time Trials and Qualifying Rounds
Carshow Judging and Interviewing by Judges

Sunday, July 18
Gates Open at 8am - Gates Close at 5pm
Carshow and Specialty Awards Ceremony
Racing Class Eliminations followed by Awards

It's about 430 miles from NYC --> 6.5 hr drive (2 tank fulls!)

Hey PJS, I don't know which route your taking but last year the Ontario caravan met up with some NY'rs just on the border of Ohio at the Angola pitstop. Heres the LX thread and details about the trip. http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=200107

Yeah, looking it over, I-80 looks like a straight shot to the event. I'll look into the Angola angle and you have a link to the Ontario schedule?

Its all in the link provided. I checked over your route and it may be a bit out of your way. Hell of a drive none the less. Maybe check out some of the other caravans leaving from the area. Surely you could meet up with a few lx and cruise together.
