Dyno tuning on my 426 turbo engine

So this afternoon I went down to FastSpecialties to witness the 1st preliminary dyno on my new 426 engine and the addition of 80lb. injectors.

(No camera pics or videos taken)

Getting plenty of fuel, but they stopped doing dyno for the day as some other problems came up.

Spark plugs started blowing out. They're 1 step colder NGK plugs gapped @ 35.
Greddy boost controller would only boost turbo up to 9psi with the currently installed spring(s).

580rwhp
660ftlbs/torque @ 9psi using 91 octane fuel

After plugs are re-gapped and springs changed out, dyno tuning will resume, next week.

That's ****ing crazy power to the wheels! At 8 psi Vortech recommends gapping to 32, so I can see why they're blowing out. Also, you might want to go with two steps colder for the summer months. My Jeep is loving them.

800 crank will do for now. That's about 650 rwhp. Or whatever it ends up is fine. I just want to enjoy driving it and out of the shop for awhile. ha,ha!

Wow those are some nice numbers! What a difference a Turbo makes as far as the Torque goes! Huh?? Can't wait to hear how your Dyno goes after the spark plug situation is all taken care of! Nice!!
