Sat. Radio stopped working. Sirius says do a "Hard Reset" on Mygig (RER)? (Moved)
All of a sudden my Mygig displayed a message stating that my subscription to Sirius had expired. I called Sirius and confirmed that my subscripition had not expired, so they tried to send the signal to my stereo with no luck. They then stated I would need to do a "Hard Reset at the dealership...".
I've tried googling with no luck and even went to the Mygig site and nada.
I'm not going to the dealership unless I absolutely have to.

Can I assume the obvious, that the vehicle was "out in the open" (not in a garage) when Sirius was trying to send the signal?
RER MyGIG reset:
1. With the vehicle ignition off, pull IOD fuse to remove power to head unit. (Fuse 28, 20-amp yellow in Integrated Power Module - underhood closest to driver)
2. Press Open/Close hard key on upper left of head unit, hold for 10 seconds to discharge capacitors in head unit.
3. Replace IOD fuse and turn ignition on, turn radio on.
I have a Mygig RER and for whatever reason it will not keep maintain the Sat Presets and my music that I uploaded to the HD is gone. My AM/FM Presets are fine, and I had 2-3 pictures that I uploaded which are still there. GPS and Uconnect are fine.
I was told a hard reset is nothing more than disconnecting the power or removing a fuse. Even after the update to 2.069, I can't get sirius to work nor the navigation to locate my position. Oh, I've done the "reset calibration" and driven to a "digitized road", but it still won't work. I'm beginning to despise the Mygig. Maybe it should be name MyPoop?

My "connection" is putting in a new HDD. I'll let you know how it works out.
