chicago jeep SRT8 Sightings

Thats funny because I was next to a black (I believe 07) SRT plated read PurEvl 2 or something along those lines on last night 355 south as well however he went well passed 88. I was in my Red Rock 08. Unfortunately did not see the silver 08 though. Would have been like a mini cruise lol

That is my buddy Andy that you saw, those are his plates. The one I was next to was a 08-09, had factory HID's like mine.

That was me dude! Do you have front tints? They look nice with the silver. I was picking up my daughter for the weekend in Arlington Heights and heading home, hence getting off at 88. I am on 355 every other Friday and Sunday nights. It's easier to fly on that road as opposed to 88. Wish I could have had fun too but it was REALLY slick.

Was so excited I forgot to quote! Thanks for the compliment. I was so torn between silver and black. Silver is awesome on the SRT8s.

Thanks man! Yeah I have tints all around. It just makes vehicles look so much better. Hate it how IL has a no front tint law but I don't care. I have no front plate on either....

Love the SRT8 in black! One of my favorite colors. Yours looked mean as hell. I just cannot have a black DD. I have had to many in the past and it is just to hard to keep them clean. My mustang is black and only comes out on nice summer days. I have to clean it every time I take it out.......lol

I got totally busted with front tints in my '98 328i. I don't get the IL law for that at all. It looks sweet on silver! I did the front license plate only because I have the black I-Pass module on the front plate. I am used to it but prefer no plate for sure. I wanted silver like you to hide the obvious dirt/salt streaks. That is the main reason I wanted silver. Then I saw the metallic pearl flakes as the sun hit the GC on Halloween and I was like, dude--I love that brilliant black she-ott. I am dying to get it washed but snow keep comin'. Yours looked straight and shows little salt. I wanted to get a lite color since I have only owned one non-black car in the last 20 years--and it was my last ride which was "black opal"--it was really 'blue metallic' but still. Can't let go of the past I guess...

Sweet! Yeah I was pretty sure it was gonna be a forum member when I saw the plates. Thing was lookin good! It was probably hard to really get a good view of the headlights as im sure they were completely dirty and caked in road crap as that day started at my house in Plainfield, to O'Hare, to Lake Zurich then back to Plainfield. Love drivin that thing though!

Sunday the 18th near Michigan Ave. and 16th , South Loop. Black. Cleanest ride on the block parked on Michigan facing North.

Monday the 19th around 1:00 PM heading eastbound on Ogden Ave in Downers Grove. Just east of Belmont/Highland.
