I'm a little late on this thread but that is tight!
I have a Ruger Mini 14 I woould like to set the same way but what really needs it is my 30.06 to protect the scope set up. The mini 14 is a fun toy ut my 30.06 is my first, true love! My soulmate!

My Remington 700-5R in .308 is just too big to fit.

My Ruger 10/22 is too small.

My Remington 710 in .270 is just right.

My AR15 may fit if I get the collaspable stock and an 18" barrel...

Soon, it will okay to park at work while armed... I love FL gun laws.
