I bought some Satisfied pads to replace the stock pads that were making all kinds of noise. Passenger side rear of course. Before installing them I decided to have the tsb done. Its been 3000 miles now and they have only squeaked a few times.
The TSB fixed mine for a few thousand miles, now sqeaking alot again. When I get home this summer, I'm going to try some of the products that are supposed to help quiet brake squeal. Do a search and you will find them.
I did the same. Centric Posi Quiets. Also did a light directional sand on the rotors to remove some of the grooves. I have about 3k miles on the pads, only squeaked a couple of times. Huge improvement. Stopping power is not the same, but still fine.
My rears were squealing when I got my truck at 16k miles I put the satisfied GS6 on the back without doing anything to rotors and the havn't squealed yet. I'm at 25k now
