My 2012 SRT8 is my only vehicle and I've driven it 18,000 miles in the past year. My wife and I just did a 6290 mile road trip through 14 states. Before my 2012, I had a 2006 SRT8 which my son now drives. It is his daily driver, and he just ticked over 100,000 miles. Once you own a SRT8, it's hard to drive anything else.

That's an awesome hand-me-down
I bought mine a year ago to date I believe and have driven it everyday around town and up and down 95 to Richmond. I agree with everyone else, why buy it if you're not going to drive it? I don't like driving anything else anyways because it's not as fun Just crossed over 35k last week so that puts me at about 17k in a year.

My problem is I have a company car. I can't use the company card on my jeep even if I wanted to drive it to work. I don't go many places once I am done working so the Jeep stays in the garage. I can drive my work car as if it were my own so I find myself jumping in it to run errands(free gas) and to the golf course(not worried about it getting hit). My wife works evenings so we don't go out much. I wish I drove it everyday, I hate driving my base model impala. I have had leather and heated seats in every vehicle I have owned. 4 months of ownership and less than 1500 miles is upsetting. Hopefully this summer I will get to enjoy my SRT. I have Borla exhaust, trinity and catch can sitting in my office at work waiting for the wife to be gone so I can put them on!
I don't have the self control to DD. It's sad but true. Every time I see a camaro SS or something in my playing field I think it's a race. I do drive it to get my daughter and on the weekends to run around.
Here are the two SRT8s in this family: my 2012 and my son's 2006. Can you imagine NOT driving them on a daily basis? I look forward to driving mine at every opportunity...local errands and major road trips. This Jeep is so comfortable, I can drive 1000 miles a day and not have aches and pains. On a recent road trip, I drove from Central PA to Phoenix AZ with only a short overnight stop in St. Louis. If you are interested, I wrote up this road trip on the "other" Jeep site. The thread is "6290 mile road trip through 14 states".

I drive my Jeep everyday. I'm running a restaurant so my job is just driving her from home to work in the morning, drive her to the gym in the afternoon, then drive her home in the everning. I always take my mrs and my kids out on the weekend with my Jeep. Also going to catch up and get wasted with friends with the Jeep too. Never have thought of driving another car since I got her. Lol. Loving it!
