I doubt anyone seriously in the market for an X5M would bother looking at the WKII either. It's not in the same class of vehicle. See what I did there ?
Might want to read that press release where Gilles calls the $85k Europeans 'the competition'..... If it's considered competition, it's being cross shopped.

If someone is shopping for a 'performance' SUV, they sure as hell won't be looking at the X5 35i. It doesn't compare to the WK2, except in price. It's not the same class of vehicle. They'd be looking at an X5 M.
I traded my 2011 X5 35i (and a couple other cars I didn't need any longer) for my 2012 GC SRT8.
