WK1 General Performance DiscussionIf you are planning on modifying your Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with a performance enhancing modification, this is the section to post about it.
Ok all, need some feedback on this topic. The short time I have been on this forum, I have seen a ton of bad a$$ rides, and I am getting ready to pull the trigger on one of these mods. Pros and cons of either, bigger rims harder on drivetrain? Lowering harder ride? Thanks in advance for opinions and suggestions!
Rides great on Eibachs. If you go with 22s you will have to lower or the wheel well gaps will be more pronounced with the lower profile tires. Rides great with the 22s. Side by side there is absolutely no comparison (IMO). The 22s look amazing.
I have 22's and Eibachs zero issues truck is so much better. It doesn't hit a bump and hop the back end around like the stock setup did. As for bigger wheels on your drivetrain. I don't see this to be a issue because my 22's have almost the same diameter and only weigh a couple pounds more. I say go for it you will be happy.
