Not to get all sentimental & every thing but this reminds me of back when my wife & I first meet, only reversed. It was 86 & we were both 18, she grew up in a small town in BFE. Her mom & dad were divorced & he had passed away years before. Her mom did her best to raise 6 kids by herself but they had nothing. Dawn had a pair of shoes from the dollar general store & after we were going out for a month or so I bought her a pair of Reebok. We went out to a party that weekend with my friends & that was the first thing both guys & girls noticed. I felt bad for her because no one knew her situation, but growing up with 4 brothers who are still afraid of her. Well lets just say we ended up leaving before she really hurt someone. We still laugh about it now & she still says my friends were a-holes back than, which I agree with also.

Hmm, have to be careful with blue. I'm a sucker for anything suede, but you have to be careful or it looks too out there. If we are talking about blue suede shoes, I think they are hot in a stiletto, but not anything else.

HAHA! I have way better fashion sense for other people! I'm a jeans and t-shirt type like you are. I'm very particular about what I wear, but I'm very casual. Almost everything, including shoes, comes from Nordstrom. My shoes consist of tons of Nike's, Jack Purcell's, etc. And no, I won't be caught dead in a pair of Ugg's like every woman on earth has. I used to wear heals but had an accident where I rolled my ankle and stretched the tendons so much, my foot can't be propped up anymore.

All right, I'll bight.... I love shoes and I hate Nordstrom for it. I can only shop shoes there during their 1/2 yearly sale and it still costs a gang of cash to get out of there. I'm not digging the pumas, I'm more of a tennis shoes guy but do love my Doc's. My absolute favorite shoes for dress with slacks or nice jeans.....
