Just picked up a 2007 Grand Cherokee SRT8
Steel Blue Metallic
48,XXX miles
Navi system
Power sunroof
Electronic Infotainment system
SRT Option Group 1
K&N cold air
BB Tri Flow cat back

I'm new to the SRT8 world but not new to performance vehicles.

I've been racing for almost 20 years - below are the fun cars.

96 Trans Am
72 Chevelle

Hope to learn a bunch here and meet some people.


BTW, the firebird got into High Performance Pontiac (cover and 3 page article), GM High Tech (3 times) and Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords (camaro and firebird vs. mustang shootout)

Looks like a great site - lots of info for me to learn.

The bird was the main race car - it had just under 1300 passes - mostly at Englishtown Raceway Park in Jersey
1997 firebird V6
Nitrous et: 12.168 spinning & 110.95 mph
N/A 13.746 & 96.38 mph

The 12.168 was done with 3:23's, 3200 Pro Yank and a 120 dry shot.

I added 4:10's, 4200 Pro Yank and a 100 wet shot and just spun to 1.58 60 ft's and 12.1's again - I never could figure out the right suspension to hook.

It was quite light - best of 2720 w/o driver.
