question on tail light assembly

for those that removed the tail light assembly, did you have a white plastic cap thingy that popped out from inside? I had one pop off each tail light but don't know where they fit or belong. any help would be appreciated. btw I have a 2010

I didn't. The light should have two prongs built to the light and go into two pockets on the quarter panels. My pockets are black though. No other plastic. Picture?

I"m not sure what it is you are referring to. If you could snap a pic of it that would be helpful

Are you talking about the rear fogs or the rear taillights?

Mine fell off when i removed the light and I never put it back . I think it is a cap for the vent hole from a past post .
