New ( today) Alpine 2013 SRT 8 why include a spare?

You'll know next time you try to replace a run flat. People usually don't stock them, plus backup options are nice.

If it bothers you pull it out,

Personally, I like having it in, it's piece of mind on long trips. I had a BMW before that didn't have a spare, and I really wish it did on long road trips.

Plus, I actually hate the ride of run flat tires, so I'm glad the spare is there because I will be getting rid of the run flat tires for a lighter, better handling, and riding tire.

all that being said, I may take my spare out and only put it in my jeep when I plan to do longer trips where I may be crossing areas where I won't be seeing a service station for miles.

Yeah, me too I took my compact spare out of my 96 Gts coupe, replaced it with a black & decker inflator and a cell phone. If its a bad flat I'm calling for help anyway.

lol, I just threw the inflator that I carried in my BMW into the back of the jeep today. Better safe then sorry.

Also, if you guys fill with nitrogen, you're less likely to have a blowout, so that's just another way to improve your chances of never having to use a spare.
