Thanks. And he is mostly stock (pulley, exhaust tune, CAI I believe) but he says that's all he's going to do. I thought he'd cave years ago but he's had it now for at least 3 years I think and been able to not modify it any more. He's run consistent 12.1's though on 18" DR's so he's been pleased. He actually expected his clutch to be what let go last weekend but to his surprise it ended up being a half shaft. He doesn't drag it enough to spend the money on Level 5's (most people don't). You can replace them with stock ones many times over and still spend less than L5's.

But I had a Terminator with a built motor, a KB 2.8H and lots of goodies... he knows what he's missing, lol. My Jeep isn't nearly as fast but it's still a shit load of fun to drive for different reasons. Not to mention it's a much better DD.

Your buddy has great self control for sure, specially after riding in your car....I found the oem clutch to be quite stout, mine has held really well thus far.....some oem half shafts seem to hold up pretty good too, but it inevitable they will let go, but usually with allot more power though specially if he doesnt routinely track his car.....
