Best Cold Air Intake

I have been reading through here to get an idea about a CAI. I must say I am a bit surprised that people are stating that they are not getting any benefits out of them. My question to everyone is are you tuning the motor after the install and are you matching the CAI with a full exhaust with that tune? if not then there is no point in getting a CAI if you do not have the supporting factors behind it. a tune is the single most important factor when you increase the intake and exhaust. without a tune the ECU will only make minor changes to the AFR.

The best cai is the stock one I just put my stock one back on and my jeep feels a lot faster than with my afe intake I love the sound. But it felt it was robbing my performance.

There is some merit to your thoughts Chris. The OEM air intake draws its air from the outside the engine bay. Other so called CAI draw the air from the hot engine bay..that is other than the Volant CAI which draws its air from the outside. I you have the duel intake Volant both are from outside the engine bay. If you like your stock filter arrangement simply replace the OEM filter cartridge with a HP K&N element.

does anyone know who would PROFESSIONALLY make the holes thru the high beam section of our headlights for ram intake pipe?? i dont wanna try doing it myself and screwing up up these lights!!!??? thanks in adcance

Joe buy the 08 halogen one and screw that one up instead of getting one with projector so you always have oem

Yea but I wanna run them all the time with the SC. Wanna do both sides also. One for air to the PC and the other I wanna use to blow some air onto the intake mani to help keep cool

I tapped my CAI into my brake duct. That will force additional in at speed.
