Just Ordered Toyo Proxes ST 2's

I just ordered the 315-275 combo for the wifes jeep. Those front GY runcraps finally started to split and they are just priced to ridiculusly. Ive heard good things on here about the toyo's. Especially about the ride comparison. Ill let you all know how the wife likes them once they get mounted.

They are great tires, I had them for a little, but don't overestimate them in the rain... I know I didn't have luck and have seen many say the same.

Well I hope they do atleast ok in the rain cause thats all it will be doing for the next 4-5 months or so here in oregon. LOL These are going on my wifes toy so it doesnt get driven too much but I do want her to be safe. Allthough the wife has been giulty of the occasional "light to light runs" but not when the streets are wet. She deff loves the suprise factor with the Jeep.

She will be fine ( Im in vancouver and use this rig as my DD ) - I park it once the snow rolls in though. - without dedicated snows it gets a bit intereting on rubber this wide. She will still be able to pull through 6-8 inches. It will just be quite slick and slow going.
As for the rain, I only really notice it on corners form a stop (turning at a red light ect) - I will get some wheel slip while traction control is on.
Also if you punch it in first or second she will spin like a mother... I find myself sideways without much effort in the rain.. but i suppose that's partly my fault

Blessing is that these rigs are pretty user friendly and forgiving. even if you get sideways its easily righted.
