2008 JGC SRT8 Projector HID passenger side faces down and doesn't move

2008 JGC SRT8 Projector HID passenger side faces down and doesn't move, however the bulb works. When I start the vehicle the drivers side Projector HID adjusts. The passenger side does not move. Is this a likely ballast issue?

It could be the self-leveling motor failed, or the housing itself broke where the projector is attached to it (seen it happen, housing is actually somewhat brittle).

Ballast just fires the bulb, as far as I know.

Thanks. Sounds like I'll need a whole new headlamp if the housing is broken. Is the leveling motor serviceable/replaceable?

The leveling motor is replaceable. Now, if you can purchase that piece by itself I don't really know. I just know I have removed them and installed them on headlights I've built.

I had that happen to me the passenger side would move when i would start my rigg.... But figured it out when i took my rigg to the local 1/4 mile i took my eadlight off to get more air in there i took off the harnest but didnt realize wen i pulled light off the smallest plug next to the actuall head light projector had came lose i just snaped it in and it worked check that all of your plugs are snapped in correctly
