If it's black plastic thats faded, try "Forever Black". I used it on my YJ and my mom's TJ on the dreaded fender flares and it gets em pretty good for at least a year depending on sun and how many coats you do. I even used the stuff to dye my grey dash black in my 1988 YJ about 6 years ago, still black to this day It just depends on plastic and coats. Applies a lot like shoe polish and kind of smells like it, but it works One bottle would probably do the rear step about 40 times
