So after having it sit in my garage for almost 6 months I was finally able to install it! Managed to break the charge sensor in the process, luckily it was a quick 30.00 fix! How quickly will I need a catch can after installing this?
^^^^Yea like he said, I'd get that ASAP before going any farther, cause you were getting blow-by before pretty decently with the factory intake, now that you have opened up the intake tract even more, the blow-by will get a little worse, so make that your next part to buy if possible.

Looks good....now go get a bigger filter for that intake....the Arrington one is waaay small...check out my post #939 quoting bill38jeep....he provided the part# for the bigger K&N filter to fit....http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/s...388#post896388
catch can is a must.....im surprised at times how much oil it collects...
