After almost two years with MSRT8 I'm interested in converting to the Jeep. I like the interior upgrade that came with the 08's, but what more is upgraded with that model? And do I get something even more if I go for an 09 or 10? Any mechanical issues to look for when buying certain year models of the SRT? Can you guys convince me to join you?
08+ brings new front fascia, HID's, revision or 2 under hood, Interior Upgrades: Leather, steering wheel, shifter, fascias, infotainment center.
09+ has red Brembos and Durabright wheels.
2010 does not include rear DVD player.
2008 and 2009 are most "fully loaded" so to speak, if a rear DVD player is that important to you.
Things to check for: Lot of noise from T/case with traction control off - little noise is fine, lot of noise may be issue. High speed vibration (70mph+). Preferable to have owner with records showing T/case and trans fluid changed after 30k miles.
Lots of ppl jack the kicker sub when they trade the rig in. So if you find one without the sub it may actually have the kicker system. You can add the sub easily later if you can find one.

09's were the most loaded with the wrapped cluster and armrests as well as the performance features in the EVIC.

Ok, so I've found a potential one now. If I manage to get rid of my MSRT8 rather quick that is. It's a 2010 with 44100 miles and they're asking about $43000 for it. From what I can see it has all options (MyGig, rear seat heat, xenon Kicker sub. What are all options really?), I don't know why but it still bugs me that they removed the rear VES in the 2010. I think I can get the price down some more since it lacks winter tires and we have a lot of snow here now. What do you guys think? Here's a link to the ad, I even Google Translated it for you.
