I just ordered a BT Catch Can and plan on Sea Foaming my engine prior to install. This means I'm doing an oil change (Royal Purple of course) and want to see if there is a preferred oil filter people are using on their SRT8's. I'm still new to the scene and have only had my 08 SRT8 since this past October. The below link is to the How To for sea foaming your engine. Thanks!
I like the wix racing filters myself. I've ran them on slot of vehicles and never had a failure. Just stay away from fram cardboard filters!! I have personally seen the after effects of one coming apart on a buddy's small block tube chassis camaro!!

Hey just trying to help out but there is a "i have a dumb wk1 question" thread that people will answer all these new owner type questions. Made so these type of questions aren't constantly being asked. There is also a performance one that I use lots.
I ended up going with a Purolator PureOne oil filter and Rotella T6 synthetic oil by Shell. I did some research from bobistheoilguy.com and a few buds in the car scene, that's why I got what I did. Hopefully it's all good stuff.
