So I have been in debate and read alot of threads about power loss and if I should remove rear or front mufflers. I talked to a Borla tech today and he said there should be no loss of power and if you were to remove a set of mufflers that it should be the front ones and leave the rear ones on. has anyone done this over the rear delete?
The Borla S system is a very liked system on the WK1 jeeps, awesome sound, but one thing that has been found on our Jeeps is they like their factory exhaust, as Jim will atest to, haha he broke into the 7's without changing his factory exhaust, and Ive got the Borla S mufflers with the resos deleted and I cant even break out of the 8's, lol so these Hemi's like their backpressure, so really its just a preference to what you want

removing the front ones will be very loud. I have the rear resos deleted on my borla and its plenty loud. You'll get lots of drone but it sounds great. Also there was absolutely no loss of power. Stock exhaust is boring anyways
If you cut the rears out they could be an easy sale on here I bet. I fabbed the rear WK1 Borla S resos into my WK2 Borla ATAK axel back. Sounds awesome!
