A bit short and not very detailed but I thought it was cool to share. I would now really take the Charger instead of the Challenger. The looks are also much more appealing to me somehow.
There are already YouTube videos of showroom price in excess of $85000 on a Hellcat.
On the other hand, you could probably buy a non-Hellcat SRT8 Charger somewhere in the high $40's and put a $7500 Twin-screw Whipple on it with a custom tune and come out $30,000 less than the Hellcat. And for that much, you could take the $30k you saved and buy a really nice 1500 RAM to tow it to the track with.
Someone just posted a video of a tuned hellcat, it put down 715 to the wheels. So whats that 830ish crank? That's just a tune man.......plus they have everything to go along with it. You get a regular SRT and start modding it to put down those kind on numbers your into all sorts issues, plus huge money. I'll go hellcat all they way, it's headache free.
Got to agree. As crazy as this may sound I would drop 85k for a HC Charger. I mean we pay 70k for the SRT GC, 15k more for a s/c-ed super sedan is not that bad honestly.
