PPP can answer all your questions. Stock pistons not good for anything over 6-8lbs depending who you talk to.

I might try running my other pulley when we tune. it is a 8psi pulley.
But your going to have to build up the bottom end for anything more than that.
Ring lans are too close to the top of the piston.
Not sure what your objectives are but with the Vortech from ASM you can save yourself time and money. You will hardly be spinning the blower. Just build your bottom end to withstand 25-30psi. There is no need to go bigger displacement, the psi will make up for it.

Exactly, build your bottom end to withstand 25-30 psi and then watch your transmission in your rear view mirror resemble something of an "on sides kick" as you coast past the 1/4 mile mark. :D

Building up the bottom end is only going to make things better, if you have the money throw in the 426. Andy at PPP will take care of everything for you, and I am sure he will hook you up with a decent price.

Thanks Guys, I was thinking somwhere around 600 awhp. That is about the max for the trans right?
Andy seems real cool and you can't go wrong with PPP!!!!
I will be doing my motor in about a month. I think im going with the 426 with a low compression ratio
Thanks!!!!!!

The standard blower from ASM will be worthless on a 426.

My best time with my 6.1 with the ASM supercharger was 3.33 (0-60) You're saying 3.67 with a 426? You must have a slow one?
