We have a customer with a new 08 SRT8 that is adding Nitrous. We need to do some dyno runs on a 2 wd dyno. (I know the true accuracy is suspect.) But we are only interested in obtaining A/F ratios, etc. So, what is the best way to cripple the 4WD (and/or traction control etc.)?

THanks

Jim, there are a few posts on how this is best accomplished, including a couple of "how to's" if I recall. As mentioned, just do a search.

Promo,

Thanks for the help.

I did a search before posting and found literally dozens of threads, with several conflicting statements and misleading hits. I had heard that a fuse had to be removed and that was what I was most interested in. I know that I would remove the drive to the axles mechanically, but wasn't sure about any possible electrical requirements.

I would suggest pulling the plug on the transfer case itself and not the fuse....Probably easier too

I'd suggest getting a Starscan and having it put into dyno mode.

True Andy,
But I prefer to use the correct term "Emission Rolls Mode" as it took me months to find that in the StMo after being told time after time to put the Jeep in "Dyno Mode" and never found that option.
