Does the Jeep SRT8 have power folding side mirrors? Or are they just manually foldable?

I believe they are manual Folding. Power Folding would have been nice though.

Yes, they are manual folding. However, the GC Overland has power folding mirrors. Perhaps someone can figure out how to get that power folding feature to be incorporated in to our cars. Yeah, it would most likely mean new mirrors and a new control. It would be pretty neat though.

The UK version gets powered folding and auto-dimming mirrors (interior and side) as standard.

Edit :- They fold electrically, the only way I can get it in my garage (LOL). Just have to twist the mirror control knob.

It's a little misleading but when manufacturers claim that their car has power folding mirrors they mean that it has power mirrors than can be manually folded.

If you have a GCSRT8 with the Memory mirror option then you have power folding mirror's. You have to go to the dealer and get them to enable this through the computer. You can also have them set the passenger side mirror to tilt down when tranny is put in reverse.

can't speak to having mirrors fold under anything but "hand" power, but both mirrors tilt down when you enable reverse tilt function, not just passenger.

that shouldn't be too difficult, considering they are the same car.

In North America ONLY the Overland models come with power-folding mirrors. You cannot simply have this feature "enabled" on other models, it's a whole different mirror assembly, wiring etc.

The UK cars have mirrors that are
*Heated
*Self tinting (anti dazzle from following traffic, linked to the rear view mirror)
*Power ajustable
*Power folding
*Auto tilt on reverse
* Coloured to match the body

I'm really missing the power folding mirror thing. My Jeep GC SRT8 barely fits into the garage and I can't get closer the the garage wall on the passenger side because of the mirror. If anyone out there has gone to the trouble of actually getting these installed from DMG I would be interested to know your experience and the cost to do it. It sounds like the Overland spec power fold mirrors should be installable into the SRT8?
