I had an email exchange with one of the Hotchkis suspension folks today. He said they had not had any significant requests from GC SRT8 owners regarding their producing suspension components for our Jeeps. He further suggested that if we want sway bars etc that we need to show them that there is a viable market for such products.
If any of you are interested in obtaining Hotchkis components, he suggested you email bdemarkey@hotchkis.net. He is the sales and marketing guy. Bill

What's wrong with the anti-sway bars we already have??? I haven't measured them yet, but they look pretty beefy.

The bars on my 300C SRT8 looked pretty big also, that is until I put them next to the sway bars that Hotchkis makes! Made a substantial difference in the handling after installing same. Factories tend to build understeer in and small sized rear bars are one way they accomplish this.
What would be ideal is to have them make a TVS (bars, springs, and shocks =Total Vehicle System) for the Jeep. Bill

I agree. I had hotchkis on my C5 Vette sevaral years ago and it was night and day difference. I do feel we have a pretty good set on our cars now, but if you want to track it, a larger set would definately increase lap times and fun factor.

I don't think it really needs swaybars that much, but it def needs a set of lowering springs to close the huge fender to tire gap. I'll e-mail them too.

I am hoping that GSM comes up with something for us. Possibly a KW kit like they make for the LX Models. My Jeep personally sways way too much at high speeds. Doesn't feel stable. JMHO.

I made a post to GSM and they said the coil over suspension for the GC is in the works. It may be a while before it available but I'm sure its worth the wait.

Hotchkis used my 300C as a test mule for their springs and bars :D
The difference in handling is remarkable and I highly recommend them. All of my contact was with Wes in Research & Development.
Good luck guys :)

That is not the issue. Hotchkiss is not willing to put the R&D time and effort into the design work unless they get enough interest from SRT owners!!! So it you want them to make suspension pieces, email the fellow in my original post. Bill

Obviously they're NOT going to R&D what they have no market for.
An email campaign should help to get the wheels turning so someone CAN become the next test mule... Go for it!
