We all know that the SRT8 can gobble up Cayenne Turbos, but I just thought I'd post my experience.

Driving on the 105 freeway near LAX yesterday and I was goin about 75. All of the sudden I look up into my rear view mirror and I see a black cayenne turbo on my bumber. he pulls into the left lane and tries to pass. he gets his nose up to about my back wheel and then i floor it. By the time we reached 125, i was about 2 car lengths ahead of him and pulling....thats when we slowed down.

I did smell something burning, but there was nothing out of the ordinary with my car, so lets hope it was his.

also, coming off the free way we came to a stop, and instead of pulling up to the light next to me, he pulled up behind me and never attempted anything else... I think he learned his lesson.

It was fun.

Was that the older Turbo, or the new Twin Turbo? I nkow you can get the Twin of the line as his turbo's are still spooling, but at 75 if he had it at WOT, he should have been flying.

There are very few Turbo S's out there. I haven't seen a "S" at all. Just plain Turbos

All Turbo Cayenne's are twin turbo, the S just has upgrades to add about 70 more HP. I've driven both and the Turbo S is awesome but I still think the Jeep is faster. It better be awesome for $120K or stated differently 3 Jeeps at EP :) The Jeep weighs somewhere between 1000-1500lbs less then the Pepper.
