I was rolling to work on the 167 north south of Seattle this morning and a new Saleen S331 Supercharged (Didn't know what it was until I googled it in the office) rolls past me. I watch as he gets in the carpool lane and slams it. The truck appeared to move out pretty quickly.
Has anyone had a chance to check these out? They are pretty new on the market I think.

According to the Saleen website this model is 450 hp / 500 lb/ft.

Never seen one on the streets here which I figure I would have seen a few. Definitely nothing to worry about at all.

They are nice looking trucks, I've always loved Saleen products but the Jeep will smoke it.

I test drove the supercharged one and was hugely disappointed.. nothing at all to worry about.. couldn't even get it to break them loose

I watched one run at the track. The best he could muster was a 13.80.

Saw Onw At A Wallmart About 2 Weeks Ago,, I Made A Double Take To Make Sure It Was A Saleen Truck,,,yup It Was, I Wasnt Impressed At All. It Looks Big And Slow,,i Have Had Saleens For About 10 Yrs Now And Really Know Them Inside And Out,they Could Of Passed On The Production Of That Truck,thats Why You Dont See Many On The Road,saleens Have Always Been Cars Not Trucks,weird To See One In A Truck Version,,its Slow Compared To The S-281s

From what I heard, they also suffer from some major wheel hop off the line.

I had a Saleen (2004 SC281SC) and they SUCK big time. They have zero fit and finish skills.
