Just curious. Anybody out there driving the GCSRT8 on a daily basis as your primary mode of transportation?

Havn't gotten mine yet, however it will be replacing my SRT-4 as my daily driver. I'll let you know how that works out in Michigan weather conditions and road conditions (read: the absolute worst roads in the country).

Weekend toy

Daily driver and it does that extremely well. I've got some faster toys for the "weekend" thing. :D

Daily driver......so far it's been great....except 12 mpg!!!

Daily driving 90% city driving 10% highway and about 10.5 MPG.

Will be daily driver when i get it.... week and a half and counting.....tic...toc...tic...toc...can't sleep...tic...toc....can't focus...tic...toc...can't wait...tic...toc.

Mine's a DD as well. ON the weekends, it actually usually stays parked in the garage, and we take the wife's commander everywhere.

A Jeep, even a fast one......wouldn't be very high up on my list to serve as a weekend toy.

Daily beater, beat the crap out of the car ( nothing stupid of course ) 12000 miles in 6 months and the only thing to go out yet was the actuator in the rear diff. :D

Now that my wife isn't working anymore, I kinda switch off between the Charger and the Grand Cherokee every day or every other day.

Daily Driver. My Stage 1 is my weekend toy. :)

Every day for everything. Gas mileage sucks, but can't stand driving my wife's Aurora anymore lol.

Drive it to work during the week. On the weekend strap my Tri bikes to the roof to get me to roads where there is s lightly reduced chance of being run over.

Daily driver mostly in the winters, I traded in my old gas hog in for this one! Have other toys for the summer though...

I'm retired also, and I kinda "HAVE" to drive or ride every day. Jan of 06 pick up and about 27,000 miles now. (and that's splitting driving between two vehicles and a MC) Loving every minute of it.

Next time I'm winging it to Carlisle/Hersheyfor an event, I'll swing by and we'll do a road trip......Can you still snag us a few cases of some of the greatest candy in the world to keep us pumped?

Daily car - 1200 mile in less than 3 weeks of ownership, other toys for weekends (with slightly better gas mileage). This is a ridiculous piece of kit, it truly doesn't make any practical sense but I have never laughed so much while driving.

It's Sheri's daily driver, but we switch off from time to time. With two SRT8's, it's easy to do.
