tracked down this guy from my drive the other day on the SRT neon site and after shootin the s**t with him for a bit it is apparent that this guy wants to race BAD. here are his mods:

My mods are...K&N drop in filter, urethane filled stock mm's, ported intake mani, ported throttle body, ported exhaust mani, ported and polished big wheel Stage3 turbo boosting 26lbs., NGK Iridium 2-step colder plugs, MSD wires, Custom turbo back 3" side exit exhaust, Stage1 PCM, Balance shaft chain removal, Mopar short throw shifter, NX Stage1 Nitrous kit(50 shot), SAFC2 and 682cc injectors. Stock internals, but i'm putting down 410hp/440tq with my setup now and 497hp/544tq on the 50 shot..."

could prolly get his engine to blow up if i raced him hard more than once. lol honestly though, seems this guy has a lot invested and could prolly beat me on the stretch (dunno), guess i really don't see the point considerng if i get pulled ver i am going to jail. lol what you guys think?

well if h ran a 12.2 on th track figure maybe 12.6 on the street so figure what your running and that decides the winner.. looking at your mods it will be close but i think he may have you

Being an SRT-4 owner myself, I would say that he would probably beat you from a roll and that you would spank his ass from a dig!!

From a dig you're gone but he should reel you in. a lot will depend on his shifting and how used to street racing he is.

Definitely not worth it if jail time or loss of license could be involved for you.

Race from a dig to around 100.

interesting indeed. when he was messing with me on the freeway this past sunday it seemed his ride was strong, however it did seem that engine was working really hard. all i know is this guy really wants to race bad...

I think that's what you'll need to win. Besides Claude, will a full exhaust, CAI, CMR Tuned Jeep run 12.2?

You have no idea what I've done to my GTI. Just a little package by VF Engineering and GIAC with forged internals, Peloquin clucthes w/LSD and DSG tranny and AutoWerks Audi shift programs, DR's up front on Volks, etc. If he's only running 12's then he's slow as hell :D :cool:

That is not the point!! If you invest as much as the car is worth, you will surely be fast!! I was refering to the German engineering.....we all know that VW are the most reliable cars....
