I'm a former Police Officer, worked for almost 3 years as a Patrolman in south jersey. I've ran into many burning houses/apartments/condos and pulled a few people out of smoking vehicles. Does that count?
Now I'm a teacher! =P

North Bellmore Company 1 (Long Island) and FDNY L107/E225, East NY/Brooklyn......too much crap to list. Now a bank VP.....go figure. I do, however, miss it a lot.
In my 12th year as a FF/Specialist in VA. Love my job, hate the politics also.

Thanks a lot brother! And thank you and all the others for their service in this area...you guys do your job on a daily basis. I spend all my time training and only do my job when I go overseas...I guess that is one good thing about being an Infantryman!

This contest I'll probably win.:D
37 year veteran on the Fire Dept.; 26 years as a Captain because of the political BS that goes with the next higher rank; EMT/BD; still on active duty because the health insurance is too f*cking expensive to retire.
