Can you post a pic of the pic you used? All you would have to do is drag it to a jump drive, and plug it into the Mygig. Should be simple. The hard part is finding a good pic to use...

First you will need a Digital Pic. (Jpeg) of the SRT8 Badge. There is a nice one on the AllPar site, go to the site and Search, SRT8 Badge, or you could take a Pic. of the Badge on your GCSRT8. Mygig recomends shrinking the Pic. to 240x158 Pixels, this isn't always possible, so get it as close as you can. I used PhotoShop to do this, I also put a light background on the Pic. To install the Pic. I used a card reader, used to read compact flash cards. I pluged the CR into my computer and transfered the Pic. to the Reader. Then pluged the Reader into Mygig and transfered the Pic. to Mygig. Use your Navigation users manual and go to page 72, it will explain how to do what is necessary to install and view the pic. There are any number of things that can be displayed, such as a Pic. of your GCSRT8, as long as you have a Pic. you can display it. If you don't have a Card Reader you can use a Digital Camera, burn the Image to CD or DVD, use an IPod, that displays Pics. etc. Mygig will copy from a CD/DVD or any USB Thingy.

If you can do the mod you've done, you'll have no problem on how to post pics Jack. Register on Photobucket, upload your pics, then copy and paste the [IMG] tags from Photobucket in the thread that you want the pics to appear. Make sense?

honestly...this guy figures out how to alter the nav system but can't post up a pic even with instructions? I think altering the pic on the screen is risky business... I was nervous with the "In motion" hack! I'll believe when I see it.

This isn't really a "Hack" per se guys. I saw the option to load pictures when I put a flash drive in the MyGig USB. The option is there in case you want to see a pic of your kids etc. on the screen. in fact, there are some cheeesy scenic pics that can be accesed to change the default Jeep Blue screen. Like he said, the hard part is getting a pic that will give you the best resolution.

It's not a hack... I changed mine to our company logo, looks kind of cool, its just an option on the 08's mygig that lets you change the background.
