: Looking to buy. What should I expect.

I had my heart set on getting a TBSS until I saw the SRT8. I have a Roush mustang right now but I am selling it so I can buy something I can drive year round. SUV's with big engines will do the trick.

If possible I would like an '06 lease. I am looking on putting about 2,000 down. What can I expect? I live in the Detroit area and love all 3 colors so I am not that picky. I know there are a lot of factors that go into a lease payment but just wondering if anyone could give me a ball park. I am going to test drive today and I don't want to get ripped off if I decide to buy. Thanks in advacne!

With Employee Pricing, leasing is not an option.

Wow, I guess they don't lease well at all. I know the SRT is superior in every way compared to a SS but I can't justify 715/mo for a lease. I can get an SS for well under 400. Thanks for all your help guys and as much as I would like a Jeep I can't afford it right now, thanks again.

Go rob a convenience store, it's worth it to have the Jeep!

While it's not something I would have ever thought of saying myself...I couldn't agree more. This thing is the most fun I've ever had with any vehicle I've owned and I've owned a few very desirable and fun cars (M5, 2 M3s, CLK55, SL500, etc). Sure it might not be as nicely built as some of the others but the price/performance more then makes up for it's small issues. I've seen 3 TBSSs on the road since I got the Jeep 4 weeks ago and all seemed anxious to get near the Jeep and none tried to race it. I've seen one other GCSRT8 on the road and it's owned by someone who's like a father to me (an old neighbor and father of a close friend of mine for 35 years, I'm 38 now).

Sean, are you married? The payment was the least of my concerns, I bought it for my wife, the ***** payments make it all worth it!

That and I get to have my Mag SRT, and she no longer wants to drive it. The biggest drawback.......... Having to mod 2 vehicles at the same time.

He'll be disappointed for the rest of his life that he never bought an SRT8 Jeep
