Anyone aware of any dealers with employee pricing for the SRT8?

It may be helpful for you to provide your city and state so someone close to you can respond.

Any 5 Star Jeep Dealer has to offer it...

I travel between Arizona and Colorado. Talked to one 5 star in Denver and they were at MSRP!

I just bought mine under employee pricing in denver. I did call other dealers and they unethecially said they were not offering it with the employee pricing.. The dealer I bought mine through said they were not happy to offer the STR @ emplyee pricing but they had to participate all or nothing....

I think that's they key...the dealer where I got mine told me that they had to participate all or nothing. It may not necessarily be unethical if they are not participating in the Employee Pricing program. I don't think they have to be a 5-Star dealer, but if they are participating in the Employee Pricing, they must offer it on all vehicles that Daimler Chrysler tells them are applicable...they cannot pick and choose. So any dealer participating in the employee pricing that has an SRT in stock must sell it for Employee Pricing...at least for the next four days!!!

WHat really surprises me is that any GC SRT-8's are still available at any dealer. A few months ago there was a wait...not it seems they are just sitting on lots getting dusty. Why?

There are no new ones in the pipleline right now. As a result, they want to keep them around for people to look at. That is why they are not being discounted or otherwise sold at EP.

Per a discussion at a dealer I went to, the SRT8's are a big attention getter. They like to have them sitting there so people stop in.

When the 2007's arrive, the 2006's that are left will get slight discounting, but nothing significant.

I am in Colorado and it took me forever to find the jeep and even longer to get somebody to sell it at MSRP. Most, especially in denver had a markup on them. And none of them would give me EP pricing. Which really sucked.

I don't know where you live, but here in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, the three dealers that had them left in inventory as of August 1 all sold them at EP.

The dealer where I bought mine said that he was losing $10K on the deal, because before EP was announced, he was selling them at $5K over sticker, and, in order to participate in EP with the rest of his inventory, he had to offer EP on the SRT...which amounted to almost $5K under sticker.

Maybe when EP ends, the dealers who still have them (I can't believe there will be many) will take them back up and over sticker, but, for the next four days, if you find a dealer that is participating in EP on the rest of his vehicles that still has an SRT in stock, he is REQUIRED by DC to sell the SRT at EP. (OK, that's too much abbreviation...) :)

Phil Long has no SRT8s. I spoke with a 5 star dealership in CA that has one optioned the way I like and after being told that they are offering employee pricing on all trim levels of grand cherokees I was ready to cut a deal. Then a manager or someone came on the phone and said that even though the srt8 is "elligible" their dealership has chosen not to honor it but they are selling every other DCX model at EP+.

Does anyone have a number for either a 5 star dealership customer service or DCX customer service?

It's up to each dealer if they want to honor EP or not. They do NOT have to honor the special pricing. And dealers who sell at EP do not "lose money" on the deal, DCX compensates them.

Call Woodhouse Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Blair, Nebraska. Their number (402)426-4127. Ask for Bill Pemberton or Dustin Wolfe. They have 5 in stock currently and are willing to sell all of them at EP. Also, they will deliver for a very modest price to anywhere in the continental 48 United States.

Woodhouse has two left, neither are black. Both are being driven by managers if that means anything.

I guess they have 3 to report then. Checking their numbers this morning, they showed the 5. Sorry for the misinformation.

are they selling at EP to the public or just if you have a control #?
