Sorry if this is a repost...I was wondering if this actually even served a purpose? My thought was it had something to do with our bluetooth...the manual says nothing about it...

Also, this has been sitting in my closet for over two months now. I've tried selling it but no takers. I finally decided to install and see if it really was as bad as it was made out to be.
Mind you, I'm not at the track at all so I'm not living life in the hundredths of a seconds as a lot of you are ( at least not yet ), but so far I really like it. Nothing really to write home about at low accelerations, but once you give 'er the sound difference is amazing. Its got a really nice growl, very loud. The responsiveness for a dead stop is unchanged unfortunetly, but when I'm merging onto the highway or whatnot and i'm moving and its time to get goin, wow does it make a difference there as well.

Anyways, this is my first official "performance" mod and actually the first time i've ever touched anything in an engine bay before. Was a very straight forward install, and I may have just become addicted...

Unfortunately the butt dyno lies, and most people have reported an actual HP loss with the Dub. Looks niiice tho.

That pic is the reason why my DUB is still installed. The look is great. If I was to schedule a track day I would be ordering the BWoody.

I'm with ya there. It may have even been a pic of yours that got me to buy it in the first place. There's just something about the red and that tube that compliments our engine bay.
I also agree with ya on the Bwoody, clearly proformance-wise there is nothing better, and there may just come a day when I'll change the DUB out, but for now, I'm quite happy.

Ya, I read all of that AFTER I had ordered it. I was under the impression that ANY aftermarket CAI is good for somewhat of a gain, and I'm afraid that I made a hair trigger descision based on that fact and mostly for the looks.

I obviously havn't been to the track yet, but as for HP loss, it must be so small that I don't notice anything...the ride still feels really good and there is more responsiveness. Again, this is based on pure feel...no numbers attached!

Fashizzle bro. When I first started modding the rig, that was definitely my first choice. In the last year, there have been quite a few CAIs added to our "availability" with quite a few new members and write ups that helped me make my decision.
