Alright I have not done extensive searching so this method may have been done before but I haven't seen it done this way

I am not a big fan of redirecting th whole brake duct to the intake also not a big fan of duct tape and drier hose (no offense)

I'm am not just a 1/4 mile guy I enjoy some spirited driving also

So in this mod I redirect a portion of the air to the intake

It cost me nothing because I had this stuff laying around it's like 1 1/2" SS Flex exhaust tubing

First I removed the brake ducts (One bolt underneath and two reusable plastic rivets in the top front portion of the duct) Pretty easy with jacks

Then I drilled a 1 3/4" Hole in the plastic duct insert the tubing and secured with screws

I reinstalled the ducts, ran the tubing into were the resonator cup was and secured the tubing

This is the passenger side

and this is looking up at the bottom of the intake box

It not that noticeable when walking up to

I am not a scientist or an auto guru, this mod may have done nothing so please don't flame me

This is not a contest on the best way to do it, it's just my way :D

The butt-o-meter liked it but we all now how accurate that thing is :(

I hate to be the first to hate, but that will do nothing performance wise. Granted it is a good idea, but I really dont feel enough air will be forced into those little tubes, to really make a difference

Like I said, I had the stuff laying around

2" would have been nice

I'll take a run with the dashhawk and see what happens, you never know

Looks like a good idea but the hose is a little small. You would probably be better off with a dryer hose tapped into the left side brake duct like you did and directed into the airbox.

Yeah as said above. Great Idea, but you basically wasted your time.
Way to small.

Great idea and niice install, but I don't think it'll do much if anything.
