I'm wondering the same thing. I hear that there is no program on these jeeps. so how do they figure out a lease if there is no set program? do they make one up? at $839/month for 36 months equates to approximately 65% of the value of the truck which is crazy.

Whats champion jeep lease these out for?

My 2007 was $40,000 with every thing, except dvd. I pay $524.26 a month with 15.000 miles per year for 3 yrs. At the end of the lease the truck is not to have more than 48.700mile & change. I traded in my 2004 dodge ram Hemi with 58,000 plus miles. I raged hell and war and then some, thinking it was too much.

Whats champion jeep lease these out for? When they say no program, they mean SRT's don't lease very well unfortunately!:mad:There are absolutely NO incentives,NO rebates...NOTHING!!!These vehicles are like the AMG's of Chrysler's line up.The only thing you can do is try to negotiate the price as best as you can to invoice or close to it.Btw I leased mine for 39 mos. 10,500 miles 3000 down+first mo. and MV fees for 734$-2007 Black Jeep GC Srt8 fully loaded(rear dvd, nav, back up camera..all the goodies:D)

Hey Guys!!!

I thought about leasing but after going through the prices with various dealers. It's not worth it since the residuals on our SRT are so bad thats why they lease out for so much if you put down nothing. But as with everything, dealers do what they want and it all depends on how well you haggle with them. The best thing is to go to a few dealers and play once against the other. I bought mine outright. I got my '06 used with 17k miles bought & traded at the same dealer. They even put on new brakes all around, certified, taxes, etc.....out the door for 33k & change. There are definitely good deals out there. it took me less than a month to research all the fully loaded SRT in the country and I'm quite happy with the deal I got. So much savings and plenty of money left over to do my mods.

Leasing these doesn't make sense to me as the monthly finance seems similar to the lease payments. Am I wrong on this?

Am I wrong on this?Well it depends on the individual I guess.I can't keep a car more than three years because I get bored,so leasing is good for me.Some people just like driving newer vehicles more often so they will pay whatever to sit in something nice.

I was against leasing mine because it takes the fun factor away. I LOVE to mod!

The new brakes were paid for by Chrysler I'm guessing. I'm guessing they just ran the Brake TSB through corporate.

I would never lease one of these. It is just no a good idea. No incentives or rebates. It is better to own it outright based on the fun factor.:D

On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be "stuck" owning one of these in 5 years when a gallon of gas is going to cost $5 plus. Let's talk about resale taking a hit. The people looking to buy a used car are not going to be looking for something that gets the kind of mileage we do.

I leased for that reason, and also I get bored with cars quickly. I would like to get another Jeep (SRT of course) when the new body style and engine come out.

You paint a bleak picture. For myself, I'd rather own the GCSRT8 and have it parked in my garage for the weekends, I'll lease the Hybrid I'll have in 5 years, and thank God I got my hands on a Kick A#$ Jeep, while the gettin' was good.

Gas isn't going to get to $5/gallon any time soon.
