Car now has 1900 miles.
I had a issue with the transmission at 600 miles. SES light came on and had to coast to a stop because it was like the car was in neutral. Anyways, after I came to a stop...in the middle of the road i remind you...I shoved it into Park and back into drive and everything was okay. Except for the SES light still begin on! Took it to the dealership and they cleared the code, something like a transmission malfunction or something. They said just bring it back if it came on again.
So today, I'm slowing down to get of the interstate, merging off and the SES light came back on....wtf. Stop at the first red light and notice the AC wasn't cold, hmmmm. Fumble around with the switches. By this time I'm at the next light turning right. Then I notice the temp gauge, 230!! Its usually around 215 right. So, did the belt or something come off. I pulled into a parking lot and shut it off. It's almost in the red by this time so I shut it off for a few minutes open the hood. Well, the belt's still there. I disconnected the battery for about a hour...did some shopping, thought about checking a few things and cooled off. Checked a few fuses, like the AC and the fan.
I was thinking that maybe the fan wasn't turning on for some reason. MAybe causing the AC compressor not to engage. Well, hooked the battery back up and the SES light was off!!! AC working, fan turning on and temps right where it's always been!?
I guess tomorrow I'll be at a Jeep dealership when they open to see what they have to say.
Any ideas??????????
